It is with sadness that we announce that our Honorary Chairman, Ms Huang Wen-Duan passed away on July 12, 2007. Ms Huang Wen-Duan was a great member and supporter of our association, she had huge contribution to the preparatory and successful launch of our association. Ms Huang Wen-Duan will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all of us. A memorial service will be held for Ms Huang Wen-Duan at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20 at All Souls (Anglican) Chapel, Hawthorne Ave, Rookwood. We are invited to attend her funeral service.

澳大利亚厦门大学校友会名誉会长黄文端女士于2007年 7月12日去世，享年91 岁。黄文端名誉会长生前非常支持和关心校友会，为校友会的筹备和成立作出巨大的贡献，深受校友们的爱戴。黄学长一家几代人与母校结下不解之缘，为母校的建设和发展作出极大的贡献。黄文端女士是澳大利亚厦门大学校友之光, 她的去世是校友会的巨大损失。

黄文端名誉会长告别仪式将于2007年7 月20日上午十点在 Rookwood 举行，届时欢迎校友们前往参加。
